About the WUC ESL Program
WUC offers English as a Second Language (ESL) — also called English as a Foreign Language (EFL) — for non-native English speakers. Courses run in small classes so students receive individual attention from their teachers, alongside cultural and social activities of the school and surrounding community.
The goal of the ESL program at this acupuncture school California students choose is twofold: improve vocational English and prepare students for TCM studies. Course content adapts to students’ English ability, interests, and needs.
Each level teaches: conversational English, grammar, reading, listening, comprehension, writing, and vocabulary. Students may take each level as many times as necessary to pass the qualifying exam for the next level.
